Police: Motorist charged after plowing into a New Kent pizzeria

A Pizza Hut in New Kent County has a new drive-through after a motorist plowed their Ford Transit passenger van into it.

The driver of the passenger van was charged with reckless driving after the crash, according to a Facebook post from the New Kent County Sheriff’s Office.

The Pizza Hut will remain closed indefinitely, the post said.

The adjoining Star Express was inspected by New Kent County officials and allowed to reopen, according to the post

No injuries were reported in the crash.
