'Ozzy & Jack's World Detour' to feature Colonial Williamsburg

You may have spotted rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his son Jack during their visit to Colonial Williamsburg in March.

That visit will appear in "Ozzy & Jack's World Detour," a new History channel series following the father-son duo on their visits to historical attractions around the world.

The series premieres at 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 24.

While in Colonial Williamsburg, the two visited the recently installed musket range, the Historic Trades shops and other sites in the Historic Area.

"The series captures their shared passion for history, and we're confident it will inspire new audiences with the compelling, entertaining stories we tell here everyday," Colonial Williamsburg President and CEO Mitchell Reiss said in a news release.

The series' first and second teaser trailers show the Osbournes visiting sites such as Stonehenge in England and Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia.

Local Cox Communications customers can tune in on channel 59, and in high definition on channel 1059. DirecTV customers can watch on channel 269, and Dish customers on channel 120.
