After four burglaries at restaurants along Richmond Road, Williamsburg police seek the public’s assistance to identify a man in the late-night thefts.

Four restaurants were broken into and suffered damage inside and outside, according to Williamsburg Police Department spokesmen John Heilman and Charles Ericsson.

Southern Pancake and Waffle House, Food for Thought, Kephi and the Aberdeen Barn all were broken into between 1 a.m. and noon May 19, Heilman said in an email.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from three of the four restaurants, Heilman said.

The burglar was caught on security footage at Food for Thought, Ericsson said in an email. The man wore a light colored hooded sweatshirt with light colored pants and masked his face. The man can be seen holding a pry bar and a flashlight.
