Early Sunday morning temperatures dipped below zero: -1 degree in Williamsburg around 6 a.m. Things will warm up, but they’ll stay cold.
Sunday should warm up to about 26 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. A light wind will blow about six miles per hour making the wind chill feek even colder.
At night, skies will grow partly cloudy, and lows will dip to 14 degrees. Wind will remain calm.
Roads that may have melted may refreeze due to the cold temperatures, the National Weather Service warned.
Come Monday, the forecast calls for temperatures in the mid-40s and clouds. The likelihood that it will rain moves to later in the week.
