2020 Democratic contender Beto O'Rourke to visit Williamsburg

Although the details are sparse, Former Texas Congressman and Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke has announced he will visit Hampton Roads on Tuesday and Wednesday.

O’Rourke has been crisscrossing the country from Conway N.H. and El Paso, Texas, and Ulysses, Kan. over the last several months in his bid for the 2020 Democratic nomination for president.

Soon, O’Rourke’s trusty Dodge Caravan will bring him to a series of town hall meetings, meet and greets and grassroots support events in Williamsburg, Hampton, Norfolk and other Virginia cities on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to spokesman Micah Barton.

Barton was unable to provide any further information as of late Thursday evening and was not immediately available for comment on Friday.

O’Rourke seeks the Democratic nomination for President along with 17 other contenders.
