Williamsburg Christian Academy names new Head of School

WILLIAMSBURG - After a lengthy search process that began last year, the Williamsburg Christian Academy has found its newest head of school.

Dr. David Breslin, a middle school principal at North Cobb Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia, will take on the role.

Breslin has worn a variety of hats in his 23-year career as an educator. He has taught, coached and served as an administrator at schools in Virginia and Georgia. He currently teaches world history and Bible at North Cobb, as well as coaching football and lacrosse.

A former collegiate lacrosse captain at Ohio Wesleyan University, Breslin coached five teams to state championships during his time as head lacrosse coach at The Covenant School in Charlottesville. He has received the Virginia Coach of the Year three times.

Breslin holds a master’s degree in education from Harvard University and earned his doctorate in Educational Theory and Practice from University of Georgia in 2015.
