There’s still time to make a donation to help support the Williamsburg Volunteer Fire Department.
The department is wrapping up its annual fundraising drive for 2018. The tax-deductible donations go to support the department, which uses the money to train and equip first responders.
The agency has about 30 members. In 2017, the department responded to 4,138 fire and medical emergencies, according to the department’s fundraiser letter.
