The College of William and Mary Board of Visitors will meet in Williamsburg on Nov. 14-16, and tuition for incoming students is on the agenda.
At Friday’s meeting, the board will vote on the in-state tuition for incoming 2019 students. However, at their last meeting in October, the Board decided they would raise tuition less than originally expected.
The increase for next fall’s freshmen class is likely to be 5.4 percent rather than the originally planned 6.4 percent.
The William and Mary Promise, which guarantees undergraduate tuition and fees will remain stable throughout a students college career, will be in effect.
