Triple Play, two-pound sandwich featured on Braves spring training menu

Two-pound sandwich featuring three types of meat is one of three new items at Braves spring training games

Through the years, ballparks have found ways to put creative spins on classic food offerings like hot dogs and sandwiches.

Champion Stadium, the spring training home for the Atlanta Braves at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort, is doing just that with three new menu offerings for the 2015 season.

Highlighting the new options is the Triple Play, an easily splittable two-pound sandwich featuring three types of meat -- shredded pork, ham and beef. The hefty sandwich is then topped with peppers, onions, shredded cheddar cheese and potato strings.

The latest spin on the classic ballpark hot dog is the Fiesta Dog, a foot-long, all-beef hot dog covered with nacho cheese, chili and shredded cheese and topped with lettuce, tomato and nacho chips.

Finally, the Double Header is a sampler platter of sorts, featuring a mini-bratwurst with sauerkraut and a mini-smoked sausage with peppers and onions. The dish is served with house-made kettle chips.

While Champion Stadium hosts events throughout the year, the new menu items will only be available for Braves home spring training games, which begin March 4 against the New York Mets.

The three new items are also included with Disney Dining Plan packages.
