Tribe basketball programs pitch in for Harvey relief

The William and Mary men’s and women’s basketball programs are teaming up to aid Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

W&M men’s basketball coach Tony Shaver tweeted Tuesday the Tribe was sending gear to Texas in response to the clothing drive that University of Houston men’s basketball coach Kelvin Sampson spearheaded.

The W&M women’s program followed suit on Wednesday, tweeting a photo of some of the items headed to Houston.
