William and Mary's Jason Inghram was named the CAA Pitcher of the Week of May 11 on Monday.
The senior lefty threw a complete-game two-hitter in a 3-1 win Friday against Northeastern as he tied the school record for wins (25).
Inghram allowed one run and struck out 13. With 303 strikeouts, the Grassfield High product became the second W&M pitcher to eclipse the 300-strikeout mark.
The Tribe dropped the next two against Northeasterm, 2-1 in 11 innings on Saturday, and 8-2 on Sunday.
W&M closes the regular season in a three-game series at George Washington beginning with a doubleheader on Thursday before the set concludes on Friday afternoon.
The CAA Baseball Championship starts May 20 in Charleston, S.C.
Tribe tennis eliminated
The William and Mary men's and women's tennis teams each were eliminated fron the NCAA championships on Friday and Saturday.
W&M's men (16-13) fell in the first round against No. 13 North Carolina 4-0 as the Tar Heels won the doubles point and got singles victories from three of their four all-ACC selections at three of the top four positions.
Tribe senior Jeltje Loomans won her women's singles match in the team's 4-1 loss to No. 31 Darmouth at the UNC regional.
W&M finished 16-7.
