The theatre in the Williamsburg Library was full for the second movie in the Star Wars film saga, “The Empire Strikes Back.” The infamous light-saber battle between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader was reaching its apex, and then some of the most infamous lines in cinema history were heard.
The robust sound in the dimly lit room projected James Earl Jones’s voice so that the walls nearly rumbled.
“No, I am your father!”
