Trump stops by Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG — Donald Trump made a drive-by in Williamsburg Friday on his way to his evening rally in Richmond.

He stopped to meet with Republican U.S. Senators who were staying at the Williamsburg Inn for a 28-year-old annual golf tournament called the Senators Classic.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, was on hand; onlookers watched him walk into the meeting with Trump, held in the building adjacent to The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg. Trump arrived by motorcade after flying into Newport News from Washington.
