Just two days after Jimmye Laycock’s last game at Zable Stadium, the College of William and Mary named his successor: Mike London.
At Noon Monday, the college’s director of athletics Samantha Huge announced Mike London would take the helm of the Tribe football team as the team’s 30th head coach, according to a College of William and Mary news release.
London was most recently the head coach at Howard University, a prestigious historically black university in Washington D.C., the release said.
London has also previously led teams to the national championships and worked as a former William and Mary assistant coach, according to the release.
