Men’s soccer:

William and Mary posted one of its most dramatic victories in recent memory, coming from two goals down in the final five minutes of regulation Tuesday night and then winning 3-2 in the second overtime period against Longwood at Albert-Daly Field.

The Lancers (2-3) scored twice in the first half and seemed en route to an upset of the Colonial Athletic Association favorites. But Ryder Bell scored his fourth goal of the season off a corner kick in the 86th minute, and just 88 seconds later, Sam Golan tied the score on a header off an Antonio Bustamante pass with 3:13 left in regulation.
