Kingsmill looks to draw crowds for 15th LPGA championship

After playing host to 36 professional golf championships, Kingsmill has looked to bring stability and fun for the whole family to the 15th LPGA championship hosted on its 18-hole Pete Dye-designed golf course.

The Pure Silk Championship will be held May 20 to May 26 at Kingsmill in James City County, according to Kingsmill spokeswoman Ryan McDonald. Thousands of people turn out for the tournament every year.
