It’s nice to see that someone agrees there needs to be more families living in town (Letters to the Editor, June 8), but being concerned that visitors to CW don’t see the regular, occupied homes on a city street is disingenuous. Guess what: Visitors may or may not know which homes are Colonial and private or which are Colonial and open to visitors. But if the city is going to be more than the houses, which are now offices for the college, open weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., they are going to have to put thought into getting the vacant houses and vacant downtown lots built and reoccupied for full-time, actual residents. Homes for people who will enjoy meals at Merchants...
