King and Queen school board recognizes school board clerk; students honor school board with banners

The King and Queen County School Board recognized School Board clerk Anne Kennedy at its Feb. 21 meeting as part of the Commonwealth’s School Board Clerk Appreciation Week, declared by Gov. Ralph Northam as Feb. 18-22, according to a news release by King and Queen County Public Schools. Kennedy has served as clerk since November 2015.
Elementary students and staff from King and Queen Elementary and Lawson-Marriott Elementary also made banners for the school board in honor of February being School Board appreciation month.
