Humane Society was key to yard sale's success

On behalf of the Women of West Point, I'd like to thank the Tidewater Review for their coverage of our first community-wide yard sale. However, one thing missing from the coverage was a thank you to the only financial supporter for the event: The Indian Rivers Humane Society.

The Humane Society sponsored use of Town Park so that folks across town could participate where the majority of traffic for the event was centered. They also paid for three portable toilets to be set up for the day so those out shopping would have a clean restroom available. They also got extra volunteers on the day of the sale to stay later at the 4Paws Thrift Store so any unsold or unwanted items could be donated.

To Indian Rivers Humane Society and 4Paws Thrift Store, thank you from the bottom of my heart. We look forward to working together with you to make the event bigger and better in the years ahead.
