King William County supervisors have chosen their 2019 leaders.

The board re-elected William “Bill” Hodges as chairman and elected Stephen Greenwood as vice chairman at a Monday night meeting. Hodges was reelected on a 3-2 vote and Greenwood on a 4-1 vote, according to King William County deputy clerk Olivia Schools.

Hodges said he will continue to work on behalf of the entire county and be diligent.

“The majority of the board wanted some stability in King William County government and the majority felt like retaining the same chairman would aid in that goal,” Hodges said.

Greenwood said he’s honored to serve as vice chairman and looks forward to working with the board and county staff to move the county forward.
