King William’s Christmas Dreams 2018 campaign to help local children and families in need is already underway.
The program helps fulfill Christmas wishes for local children and families. The program assisted 338 children and 162 families in the county and the town of West Point last year, according to a news release from the King William County Department of Social Services.
Local churches, businesses and clubs can adopt children, sponsor an Angel Tree or give donations. Individuals and families can also adopt a child or family to help.
To participate, call King William County Department of Social Services at 804-769-4905.
The department is also accepting applications for families in need of assistance for the program. Those interested may pick up an application at the department office in the L.T. McAllister Human Services Building, 172 Courthouse Lane, King William. The application is due by Nov. 16; call the department at 804-769-4905 with questions.
