New Kent County sheriffs investigating shoplifting from ABC store

The New Kent County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shoplifting incident from a Bottoms Bridge ABC store.

The incident took place Feb. 12 at the store at 2501 New Kent Highway in Quinton, according to news release from New Kent County Sheriff’s Office.

Several suspects were captured on the store’s surveillance cameras at the time of the incident.

It’s believed that at least one of the suspects distracted the store clerk while the larceny took place. It’s also possible these suspects have committed similar offenses at other ABC stores in the Richmond metro area, according to police.

Anyone who believes they can identify the suspects in the photos or has information on the incident should contact New Kent County Sheriff’s Office at 804-966-9500 or Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.

If calling Crime Stoppers, the tip can remain anonymous. If a tip leads to an arrest, the caller can receive a reward of up to $1,000.
