A tractor trailer overturned and emptied 24,000 pounds of trash on Route 60 in New Kent.

Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 1:11 p.m. Monday at Route 60 eastbound (Pocahontas Trail), one mile east of Route 249, according to Virginia State Police.
