Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in West Point celebrated its 100th anniversary on Nov. 18, led by Bishop Barry Knestout, Bishop of the Diocese of Richmond. Current pastor, the Rev. Oscar Paraiso, and several former pastors the Rev. Edgar Cleofe, the Rev. Scott Duarte, the Rev. Joseph Toretto, former parishioner the Rev. Robert Brownell and the Rev. Sean Prince, secretary to the Bishop, were also present.
Around 315 congregation members and guests attended the celebration. The Mass was followed by a luncheon in the Van Den Boogaard Hall.
