Tidewater area gets less than one inch of snow, rain; closings and delays

King and Queen and King William County Public Schools are closed; New Kent County and West Point Public Schools opened on two-hour delays Wednesday.

Some roads may have slight ice and most are wet with a snow/sleet slush mix, according to a Facebook post by King William County Sheriff’s Office.

Primary routes including Routes 360, 33, 14 and 30 have minor icy patches, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
